First of all thank you so much for the wonderful comments and suggestions from my last post...my confession and for all the other photos I posted. I really apprecate all of it and I want to say I love reading them all.
Finally, I have decided that I can't go on posting daily. Im sorry , my city dp family if Im leaving you sooner. I still would like to share photos of the city I came to love with you so I made a new photo blog. Its not a daily ( of course ) , nor weekly or monthly . I'll be posting if I have something good, lovely or interesting to share with you.
I will also continue to visit the dp blogs , and you will always be in my links. I would also be very happy if you visit me and leave comments too. Oh, and I would be grateful if you add my new blog to your links. Thank you in advance!!

nice place for a confession
Taken a few weeks back, when hubby and me went driving around the countryside. This is a dam , sorry I forgot the name. It was so quiet and peaceful here !!
Anyway I have a confession. I recently have been thinking quitting daily photo blogging. Its been difficult sometimes for me, coz there are days that I dont even want to open my pc. I'm supposed to be on vacation but still I am ever so busy. I have other blogs but they are not daily so its not really a pressure posting nonsense there. I've confided with hubby even and he suggested I continue posting pictures but not on a daily basis. Hahhhh ( sigh !) I want to stop but I feel like Im going to betray the dp family. I feel guilty already!
Akita daily is sick, that I can tell you. Especially with this pop-ups now bugging me..whew!!
While I can't decide I will continue posting ............

bespectacled beauties
This is a remnant of my izumi festival photos and I know I've already shown you many yukata pictures but I personally like this photo very much. The simple beauty and grace of these 2 young ladies are so refreshing compared to many fully made-up beauties. I remember my youth, hahhhh!!

Houses here are mostly gray and dark that whenever I see a lively colored house I feel happy. This is not actually a home thoough , but a small restaurant .

Sometimes the coast guard allows us ..land people to visit their floating abode. This is inside one of their ships docked at the tzuchizaki port area .
A tribute to the brave men who guards our seas from people like " capt. jack sparrow " and " davie jones " !!

I am so sorry dear visitors for not posting for a couple of days ! Japan has just finished " obon " , I think its the equivalent of all souls day in other parts of the world. Time to remember and pay respects to dead ancestors . Hubby had a 5 day off from work , some got more...others none at all. Being the " chonan " or the first born son , its obligatory that we return to their ancestral home during holidays. Sadly, there's no internet or even a pc there. Yes , even if Japan is now modern and a techno leader we are still very patriarchal. And I , being a " yome san " , or bride of the chonan helped the mom in her duties....that is to prepare food and cater to the malehood and other duties.

Not to be confused with the english word. " Happi " is what that matsuri guy is wearing . I like to call it happi coat, hahah! The socks they are wearing are called " tabi " while the sandals are called " geta ". Sorry because I dont know what that short pants that looks to me like underpants are called. I think our male dp bloggers will look good in this attire.
Sorry I didnt have time to post yesterday. It was one of those days ....
